We are currently seeking a Logistics Services – Account Manager based out of Canada or the US. Please apply to the position based on the country you are eligible to work.
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
Works with team and customers to develop, implement and manager new & existing logistics services programs.
Develops, and implements new systems and processes to support Logistics Services business requirements.
Leads or participates in the implementation of Transportation Management/decision support systems and solutions.
Designs and documents specifications for new TMS systems capabilities, TMS system enhancements or TMS interfaces.
Provides TMS system, logistics services process, and training support for new customers.
Conducts training on processes and procedures that affect data integrity.
Reviews recommends and implements enhancements / new systems and processes required by logistics services and its customers.
Implements and ensures adherence to logistics services policies and practices.
Coordinates logistics services internal audits to highlight issues, assist in audit readiness and ensure corrective action plans.
Broad knowledge of logistics and account management.
Strong knowledge of SCM and logistics processes and TMS applications.
Good knowledge of logistics processes and systems – awareness of latest industry processes and tech.
Excellent ability to identify and resolve complex process/system problems using financial, analytical and statistical models.
Good project management and leadership skills.
Strong facilitation, teaching and presentation skills.
Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
5-8 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor’s degree in related field (Materials Management, Engineering or Business), or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
CITT or a PLog designation would be a benefit
