CISF had previously issued a notification for 429 Ministerial Head Constable Posts in February 2019 and received a large number of applications, forcing them to extend the deadline for online applications. They are all waiting for their admit cards now, and we can expect the department to release the admit card and exam date in the following days.
CISF Head Constable Procedure of Selection
Because there are so many candidates who do not understand the recruiting procedure, all candidates who applied for the CISF Head Constable (ministerial) seats must understand the selection procedure. As a result, we’ve included the selection procedure below. Candidates who successfully applied for the position will go through three stages of recruiting before the medical examination, as follows:
- PST (Physical Standard Test) and Documentation
- OMR/ Computer Based Written Examination
- Skill Test (Typewriting Test)
CISF Head Constable Cut off Marks
Candidates that pass the PST and paperwork will be invited to take the written test, which they must pass with a minimum score to advance to the next step.
Candidates in the general category and ex-servicemen must obtain a score of 35 percent.
SC/ST/OBC candidates must obtain a score of 33 percent.
What if applicant is not satisfied with the Measurement equipment?
If an applicant fails to fulfil the physical requirement, he or she will be rejected and given a rejection slip. However, if a candidate is dissatisfied with the measurement equipment, they can appeal to the supervisory DIG (appellate authority) on the same day as the recruitment.
The supervising authority will then re-measure such rejected candidates on the same day or give them a new day for re-measurement.
Candidates who have been rejected but who have been re-measured and found to be within the statutory standard will be allowed to continue in the selection process.
The authority’s decision in this regard will be final.
